My name is Olivia Cruz. I am passionate about great design, branding, food & travel. I've lived and traveled all over the country. After settling in Knoxville, Tennessee, I can easily say that this is home! In my free time I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my two amazing sons and my faithful rescue dogs, Storm & Lil.
My professional journey to fuse my passion for both hospitality and design has been fifteen years in the making. I've experienced nearly every role in the restaurant industry, from bartender to cook to owner. Through my experiences I determined I resolved to refine my trade and hone my skills. I desired to understand what layers reveal a successful establishment. I invested in myself and went to The International Culinary Center in New York City, were I graduated the Entrepreneurship & Management program. This is where I fell in love with branding and design. I then continued my studies in marketing and graphic design at Mira Costa College in California. Now I specialize in identity design for food and travel industries. I have a deep knowledge of brand development and a strong grasp of hospitality operations.
My aim is to help companies with heart and soul stand out in the market amongst big businesses. I ensure all visual elements represent the culture, mission and talents of the business. I assist in creating cohesion and showcasing purpose for the right audience. I make beautiful graphics that clearly communicate a brand’s story and message. Good companies should be seen.
